Ann-Sophie Dewaele is a key figure in Ghent’s nightlife and a dedicated advocate for safer spaces. In 2016, she co-founded the DIY feminist punk collective (Girls) go BOOM, which, alongside QueerKoorts and KWIER, laid the groundwork for the city’s safer space initiatives. With over a decade of experience, Ann-Sophie now applies her knowledge to support the public-facing and care teams at Democrazy, Boomtown, and Club Wintercircus, where she also serves as Head of Communication.
