Brecht De Man is an expert in AI for music production and Head of Research at PXL-Music Hasselt. Based on his doctoral research, he authored the book Intelligent Music Production and has over 30 academic publications. He translates his work into practical applications with companies like Yamaha and the AI mastering platform LANDR. As President-elect of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), he founded the technical committee for Machine Learning & AI.
