I started my career in technical building management, until I happened to join VTM in 1997 as a facility manager and safety advisor. A few years later, the network landed the production of Big Brother. I was asked to build the infamous house and support the production, which sparked my long-term career in reality TV and live events.

Because TV productions like Big Brother involved unique safety risks, I began specializing and pursuing further training in event safety and crowd management. While I initially focused on VTM’s television productions, clients from the festival industry quickly followed.

Now, over 25 years later, our team at To B-seen manages the safety organization for more than 200 major festivals and events each year. We specialize primarily in crowd management and safety consulting for large-scale events, while also providing safety advice to companies and venues across the event and TV sectors.
