With an insatiable curiosity and passion for music, Yasmine has built a broad and versatile knowledge base spanning various genres. In their native Tunisia, they discovered electronic music, a genre that became a constant source of existential freedom and connection. After migrating to Belgium in 2010, they sought to reform the nightlife and music scene, focusing on accessibility, inclusivity, and creating safer spaces. This led to the founding of Not Your Techno with partner Sara Dziri, a collective that critically challenges established norms. Yasmine’s work strives for an inclusive and progressive scene that responds to the needs of their POC and queer community.
